PostNitro review
PostNitro review: a design engine that grew a scheduler
Prices and features checked against postnitro.ai/plans on .
Written by the team behind Blendin, which competes with PostNitro. Where PostNitro is the better buy, this page says so, and the section on Blendin names what Blendin itself does not do.
Is PostNitro worth it?
If what you need is carousels and image posts that look designed, yes, and the free plan lets you find that out before paying anything. It is a strong, cheap design tool with real scheduling bolted on properly. The two things to check before you commit are that publishing needs the $25 Creator plan, and that the writing is not the part it is best at.
PostNitro calls itself a design engine for social content. You write and design carousel posts, single image posts and short animated video on a saved brand identity, then schedule and publish them. The brand kit holds your fonts, colours, logos and team headshots and does the layout work, and there are more than 100 templates you can edit rather than a fixed set you cannot.
It exports more formats than most tools in this space: PNG, PDF, MP4 for the animated pieces, and an editable design rather than a rendered file. The PDF is the one that matters on LinkedIn, since a native swipeable carousel there is a PDF document, not an image gallery.
Publishing is native to LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok and Threads. There is a month planner covering scheduled posts and drafts, and a one design, four captions flow that sends the same piece out with wording written for each network.

Paste your company URL. Blendin reads your real colours, fonts and logo off your own pages, writes and designs the piece in that brand, and publishes it when you approve it.

What PostNitro is genuinely good at
Design range, at a price nothing else in this bracket matches
Carousels, single images and short animated video, in 4:5, 1:1 and 16:9, from one brand kit. Very few tools at $15 to $25 give you motion at all. If your feed needs variety more than it needs volume, this is the strongest thing on the page.
A free plan that actually shows you the product
Five slides, five downloads a month and a watermark on the export. That is enough to judge whether the output looks like something you would post, which is the only question worth answering before you pay. Most rivals in this category make you hand over a card first.
Exports you can take somewhere else
PNG, PDF, MP4 and an editable design file rather than only a flattened render. That last one matters more than it sounds: it means the tool is not holding your layout hostage, and you can finish a piece elsewhere if you need to.
It connects to other software properly
PostNitro lists a REST API, an MCP server with 35 tools, a CLI on npm, an n8n node, and Zapier and Make support, plus listings in the major AI assistant connector directories. If you already run a stack and want the design step to sit inside it rather than beside it, this is unusually well covered for a tool at this price.
Approval workflows on the team plans
PostNitro's LinkedIn scheduling page describes approval workflows on its agency and team plans, for reviewing and approving content before it is scheduled, aimed at people managing client accounts. That is a real capability and it is worth naming, because plenty of tools at this price do not have it.
Where PostNitro falls short
Publishing starts at $25, not $15
The Starter plan removes the watermark and raises the download cap, but it does not connect a social account. If scheduling is the reason you are looking, Creator at $25 is your real entry price and the $15 tier is a design subscription.
It is a design engine first, so the writing is the thinner half
The plans are drawn around slide counts, downloads and which AI models you can reach, which tells you where the product's attention is. If your problem is that the words come out sounding like a machine wrote them, a design tool is solving the other half of your problem.
Facebook is missing, and X is export only
Native publishing covers LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok and Threads. Its own site describes X as a content source and an export target rather than a network it posts to. If a Facebook Page is part of your week, this does not cover it.
Brand and workspace caps arrive sooner than you would think
Five brands on Creator and five workspaces on Team. That is generous for one company and tight for somebody running a dozen. Check the number against how many brands you actually run, which for most people is one or two.
Who should buy PostNitro
- Anyone whose bottleneck is the visual. If you can write but your posts look plain, this fixes that for $15 and you can test it for nothing first.
- A one person business that wants carousels, image posts and the occasional short video from one brand kit, without learning a design tool.
- A team that already runs its work through n8n, Zapier, Make or an API, and wants the design step inside that rather than a separate manual stop.
- Anyone who needs to see the output before paying. The free plan is the least friction of any tool in this category.
Where Blendin fits, and where it does not
Blendin is aimed at a different bottleneck. It is built to be the marketing department a B2B services company does not have: you give it your website, it reads your real colours, fonts and logo from your own pages, and then it writes and designs each post in that brand and publishes it to LinkedIn, including personal profiles and Company Pages, Instagram, Facebook and Threads. TikTok is on Pro. The writing is the part it spends the most on, running every draft through a pass that strips the tells that make a post read as AI.
PostNitro is the better buy in three clear cases, and none of them is close. If you want to try before paying, its free plan does that and Blendin's trial asks for a card. If you need short animated video, Blendin does not make video at all. And if $15 to $25 is the budget, Blendin starts at $59 and no argument about features changes that arithmetic.
The case for Blendin is when the words are the problem rather than the layout, when the brand has to be read off a real website rather than assembled by hand, and when a Facebook Page is in the mix. If that is not you, buy PostNitro.
What Blendin does not do
The same honesty the section above applies to PostNitro, applied here.
- It makes no video at all. Carousels, image posts, text posts and LinkedIn Documents, and nothing that moves, so PostNitro's animated formats have no counterpart here.
- It hands back the finished JPEG, and the PDF for a LinkedIn Document. There is no layered or editable design file to open in another tool.
- It starts at $59 a month, which is more than twice PostNitro's Creator plan and nearly four times its Starter plan.
- The 14 day trial runs on the full Starter plan and asks for a card up front, so you cannot look at the product without giving one, even though nothing is charged on the first day.
- There is no public API, CLI or n8n node to drive it from your own stack. Pro and Business get outbound webhooks, which tells your systems what happened rather than letting them ask for work.
Related questions
Each answer stands on its own, so it can be quoted without the page around it. Every figure was read from postnitro.ai/plans on 11 September 2026.
Does PostNitro have a free plan?
Yes. One workspace, one brand, five AI generated slides per carousel and five downloads a month, with a PostNitro watermark on the export and zero connected accounts, so nothing can be scheduled from it. Read from postnitro.ai/plans on 11 September 2026.
Why does postnitro.ai/pricing not load?
That URL returns a 404. The live pricing page is postnitro.ai/plans. It is a small thing but it sends a lot of people away thinking the product has no public pricing, which it does.
What does PostNitro cost if you pay yearly?
Its plans page offers a yearly toggle labelled two months free and does not print the annual dollar amounts beside it, so the honest answer is the monthly figures: $15 Starter, $25 Creator, $50 Team, with a $0 plan under them. Two months free implies ten months of the monthly rate, which would put Starter near $150 a year and Creator near $250, but PostNitro does not state those totals and neither does this page. Read from postnitro.ai/plans on 11 September 2026.
How many brands and workspaces does each PostNitro plan allow?
Free is 1 brand and 1 workspace. Starter is 2 brands and 1 workspace. Creator is 5 brands and 1 workspace. Team is 15 brands and 5 workspaces. Connected accounts follow a separate ladder: none on Free or Starter, 10 on Creator, 30 on Team. Read from postnitro.ai/plans on 11 September 2026.
Can PostNitro schedule to LinkedIn?
Yes, from the Creator plan at $25 a month, which connects up to 10 social accounts. Its LinkedIn scheduling page lists carousel PDF scheduling, first comment scheduling and Company Page publishing. The Starter plan at $15 does not connect accounts.
Does PostNitro publish to Facebook?
No. Its own site lists native publishing to LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok and Threads, with X as a content source and export target rather than a network it posts to.
PostNitro or Blendin?
PostNitro if the visual is the bottleneck, if you want to try something free first, if you need short video, or if the budget is under $59. Blendin if the writing is the bottleneck, if you want the brand read off your own website rather than built by hand, or if you need a Facebook Page as well. They are aimed at different halves of the same job.
