What does audience analytics include?
Follower count and growth over time, demographics by age, gender, and location, a best-time-to-post heatmap, and account reach and views, wherever the platform supplies them. Demographics come from Instagram, Facebook, and Threads. A LinkedIn Company Page gets follower count, growth, and reach, plus a before and after view that compares its posts from before Blendin with the ones published through it once both sides have enough posts. Blendin does not show LinkedIn audience demographics yet, and a LinkedIn personal profile gets post performance and best time to post only.
Do I need to connect anything?
Yes. Insights reads real data from your connected accounts through official partner APIs, so you connect the accounts you publish to and the numbers flow in. Until a source is connected and synced, you see an honest empty state rather than a placeholder number.
What do I see before an account is connected?
An honest empty state for that account, never a placeholder number standing in for real data.
What do I see right after connecting an account?
A syncing state until real data arrives, kept visibly distinct from a genuine zero-engagement post.
Will Insights ever show made-up numbers?
No. This is the one hard rule: real data or nothing. When an account is connected but not yet synced, or an analytics source is not available, the screen says so plainly, and a real zero-engagement post looks different from one that is still syncing. We never fabricate a metric to fill a gap.
Is my data compared against a pooled aggregate?
No. Every number is scoped to your own connected accounts. The peer benchmark compares anonymized aggregates, never a named account.
When does the peer benchmark appear?
Only once there are enough similar accounts to compare against anonymously. With no real signal yet, it shows nothing at all.
How do I earn the Top 10% badge?
Your average engagement rate over the period has to clear the top decile of a like-for-like group of accounts, matched on your industry when your brand kit sets one and enough accounts share it. It is earned by your own real numbers, never assigned by default.
