For agencies
Which platforms help agencies handle both content creation and scheduling for multiple clients?
Very few do both halves, and the honest split is that schedulers publish what you bring them while design tools make what somebody else publishes. For an agency running many clients, Hootsuite and Sprout Social are the right shape because approvals, roles and per-client reporting are the actual job, with Buffer as the cheaper queue and Canva as the making half. Blendin does the making and the publishing in one place, per brand, which fits a small shop with a handful of clients rather than an agency with a roster.
The reason this question keeps getting asked is that the workflow it describes is genuinely split across two subscriptions. The deck gets made in one tool, exported, uploaded to another, the caption written again, and that repeats for every client every week. Nothing in that loop is hard; it is just done by hand, four times a week, forever.
The second half of the problem is access. Publishing on somebody else's behalf means either being an admin of something (fine for a LinkedIn Company Page, which has real admin roles) or holding their log-in (not fine for a personal profile, and a breach of LinkedIn's User Agreement, which asks members not to share credentials). Any tool that is serious about client work has to answer that, and the answer is delegated authorisation: the client authorises from inside their own session and can revoke it themselves.
So the useful way to compare is not feature counts. It is: does it make the post in the client's brand, can it publish that exact format natively, and does it get access to the account without anyone emailing a password.
Where we sit, plainly. Blendin is built first for a B2B services company that has no marketing department and publishes for itself, and it is a production tool rather than a management suite. If your business is a roster of clients with approval rounds, monthly reporting packs and a shared inbox, buy Hootsuite or Sprout. If you are one or two people producing good work for a few clients and the bottleneck is making it, this is the shape that helps.
How the alternatives compare
| Tool | Where it is strong | How Blendin differs |
|---|---|---|
| Buffer | Mature scheduling across many networks, a clean queue, and it does publish native LinkedIn PDF carousels, which several rivals do not. | It schedules a file you already made. It does not write the post or lay it out in a client's brand. |
| Hootsuite | Deep multi-account management and reporting built for larger teams, with approval workflows from its Advanced plan. PDF posts supported. For a real agency roster, this is the category answer. | Priced per user per month, from $99 on its entry plan billed annually. A one to three person shop is buying a lot of governance it will not use. |
| Sprout Social | The strongest reporting and social listening of the group, and a shared inbox that holds up at volume. | Analytics-led rather than production-led, and priced accordingly. |
| Canva | The best place in the world to lay out slides by hand, and its planner does schedule. | It is a design tool with a planner attached, so the native LinkedIn document post and the first comment are outside what it does. |
| Blendin | Writes and designs the post in each brand's real palette, fonts and voice, then publishes it, including the native LinkedIn PDF and the first comment in the same act. | Fewer networks than a general scheduler and no social inbox. Built for a company publishing for itself, so a large client roster is outside what it is scaled for. |
What Blendin does not do
- It is not built for an agency roster. Brand kits are four on Starter and ten on Pro, connected accounts are five, ten and twenty-five included with a 9 dollar per account fee above that, and there are no client roles or per-client permissions.
- It does not publish to X, YouTube or Pinterest, and TikTok is on the higher plan only.
- There is no social inbox and no reply management. If your job is answering comments all day, this is the wrong tool.
- There is no ad manager and no paid campaign anything.
- Client-facing approval links are not available yet. Approving a draft today is something the account owner and their teammates do inside the app.
- There is no white-label mode, so the tool cannot be presented to a client under your own logo. That is a deliberate retirement rather than a missing feature.
- Analytics covers the posts published through Blendin plus audience data where the platform provides it. Where a number cannot be read, it shows an honest empty state rather than a zero.
Related questions
- Can a tool post to a client's personal LinkedIn profile?
- Only with delegated authorisation. A Company Page has admin roles, so a client can add you directly. A personal profile has none, so the client has to authorise a tool from inside their own LinkedIn session, which is what the official partner APIs exist for. Sharing a password is the common workaround and it breaches LinkedIn's User Agreement, which asks members not to use another person's account or share log-in credentials.
- How many clients can one Blendin workspace hold?
- Each client is a brand with its own colours, fonts, voice and connected accounts. Brand kits are four on Starter and ten on Pro, and connected accounts are an included count per plan with a per-account fee above it. There is no plan that claims unlimited accounts, because every connected account carries a real recurring cost. Past roughly ten clients you are fighting the shape of the product, and a suite is the better purchase.
- What if the client publishes it themselves?
- Then you want a pack rather than a login. Blendin exports one download with the images, the LinkedIn-ready PDF, a caption written for each network, the hashtags as their own file and the alt text, which is what a client needs to post it without asking you three follow-up questions.
- Who is Blendin actually built for?
- A B2B services company with no marketing department: managed IT, distribution and manufacturing, logistics, commercial cleaning and facility services, staffing. Companies that have to look established to win a contract and have nobody whose job it is to make that happen. Agencies use it, and it works for a small roster, but it was not designed around agency operations and we would rather say that here than in week two of a trial.
Blendin runs on its own official LinkedIn app, approved on the Community Management API
